Spain defeated Tahiti 10-0 and is booed

Spain defeated Tahiti 10-0 and is booed
In the overdrive and with a B cast Spain has retracted the expected record victory at the Confederations Cup. Against the brave fighting underdog Tahiti came in the legendary Maracana of Rio de Janeiro on Thursday for a 10-0 (4-0) hit the Cup and has reached the semifinals at the World Cup run in Brazil as well as. With the trouncing outbid the Spanish the previous Confed Cup record result of the Brazilians who had beaten Saudi Arabia 8-2 in 1997.

Fernando Torres (5/33/57/78th minute), David Silva (31/89), David Villa (39/49/64) and Juan Mata (66th) the gates for the Iberians, where Javier Martínez of the FC Bayern Munich was in the starting XI scored before 70 806 spectators. With four goals in a FIFA Confederations Cup match, Torres hit just as often as Marzouk Al Otaibi from Saudi Arabia and the Mexican Cuauhtemoc Blanco, which in 1999 succeeded in this feat. The eagerly awaited scoring remained Ocean champion Tahiti denied this time against Nigeria in contrast to the 1:6.

Up on Defender Sergio Ramos, Spain coach Vicente del Bosque had completely replaced his victorious against Uruguay team for the unequal battle with the 138th in the FIFA rankings. So was also Martinez in a game to the course, which was little more than a workout under competition conditions for the world champion. However, it surprised how clueless the big favourite for half an hour went to work.

The sympathies of the fans at the packed Maracana could be assured of the outsider. Each successful pass of Tahiti was cheered loudly. In possession of the ball the amateurs played merrily forward, as they wanted to just enjoy it. In the 19th minute the whole Stadium asked penalty, as Chong hue in the penalty area after a duel with Cesar Azpilicueta to case came.

The second set showed the Iberians combining football with half strength, who repeatedly gave the opportunity to the breather the Islanders despite the early backlog. In the fifth minute the Tahitians were not paying attention but pull away from leaving Torres on the left wing. The attacker of FC Chelsea completed his solo with a shot from a narrow angle, where catch settled goalkeeper Mikael Roche on the wrong foot.

Boos against the Spanish

The 2-0 through David Silva after a long period of idling acknowledged spectators with BiH calls as Brazil's President Dilma Rousseff or FIFA boss Sepp Blatter were in the stadium. But the protests seemed to stir the Spaniards. Torres and Villa once again screwed the result against an opponent too far advanced on the defensive until the break on a found 4-0.

Four minutes after the break, Villa initiated the expected Spanish Schützenfest where Torres increased his hit count to four. Thus, the blonde attacker 12 minutes before the end of the game made even more luxury, shoot a hand penalty in the crossbar. In the final, the Tahitians all about endeavoured to prevent the tenth goal - without success.

Uruguay maintains half final chance

The two-time world champion Uruguay may further dream of the semi-final thanks to birthday boy Diego Forlán. The 34-year-old scored the "Celeste" in Salvador da Bahia with his 34th goal in his 100th international appearance to a 2:1 (1:1) win against African champion Nigeria.

Uruguay's record goal-scorer Forlán met his storm Mr Luis Suárez and Edinson CAVANI after preparatory work from left half front-end position (51). Previously, he had prepared the lead through Captain Diego Lugano (19) in the first FIFA Confederations Cup game at the arena Fonte Nova. Nigeria resembled Obi Mikel in the meantime by John, as this Lugano via body illusion offset (37.).

"I'm very happy, we took advantage of our chances. The others have prepared wonderful my door", said Forlán.
