                Bayern Munich defeated Barcelona in the Champions League this season, with humiliating euro giants by  4-0, in semifinal at Allianz Arena. Thomas Müller scored two goals and helped in scoring two others for Bayern.
“Bayern  gave us a thrashing,” Barcelona defender Gerard Piqué said. Bayern had control in  the midfield for most of the 90 minutes , frustrating Barcelona’s passing game.Barca was no match tuesday night.
The much awaited showdown between European heavyweights, both star studded, was a mismatch. bullying Barcelona into submission.
Barcelona wanted some good scores from its returning star Lionel Messi, who missed last  with a hamstring injury . But Mess i was not able to penetrate bayern defence . He took only one shot and saw little of the ball.
Barcelona was never in game. After a corner kick in the 25th minute, Müller drove in an open header for the opening goal.   After halftime, he headed another corner back into the goal mouth, where Mario Gomez swept it past goalkeeper Victor Valdés. Barcelona fans were shocked and then it was hard to comeback..
Müller set a crushing pick on defender Jordi Alba to free Arjen Robben to score from a tight angle in the 73rd minute, and then he slid in to produce his second goal in the 82nd.
. On Tuesday, its three forwards — Messi, Alexis Sánchez and Pedro Rodríguez — combined for a single off-target shot. 
  Bayern, which clinched the German league title weeks ago, will face the Real Madrid-Borussia Dortmund winner for the European crown at Wembley Stadium in London on May 25.
“This team has dominated Europe over the last five years,” Robben said of Barcelona, “and if you beat them like this, I think you can be proud.”
